barra seaon opens cyclone declared
Hi all,
how convenient, the first day of barra season and a cyclone is declared off cardwell, to add salt to the wounds it even gets a girls name. I bet all the handbrakes are happy about that! At least everything is getting a good flush. Cam |

Lee Brake Wrote:Much damage? Mayor up there was on the wireless saying how it passed over the top of them without them even knowing. A few tree that were loosen after all the rain but by all accounts most damage has and will be done by the flooding from the rain. I can get into town but many can't. Ingham is cut N.S & W (oh and of course to the east by that big fire break we call the pacific! I'm pretty safe at the beach though! Putting up with mozzies & sandflies has to pay off somehow.
