blades
Just got back from 3 days fishing the Finnis river down from Dundee here in the NT.The launching is done with a tractor at Dundee (4x4 if game)as its a beach launch with surf occassionally then a 17 k run down to the Finnis where you can troll insidec the mouth for nice salt water Barra or go up to the flood plains and chase swamp dogs which is what we chose as the big tides had dirtied the mouth up.I hadnt been to this spot before and was glad to see some run off still happening and the fish didnt dissapoint with fish to 80 coming in quite frequently and managed to land my first Barra on a blade although most were caught on rubbers with the squidgy Elton John being a stand out.We slept on the boat 2 nights only getting soaked on one so that wasnt too bad but got a shock to see the rough sea leaving the river to head home and then got a couple of waves over my back while in the boat trying to get it on the trailer, its no wonder no one has launched there for the last 2 days, tried to attatch photo of Barra with blade but I dont think its happening
