Thought I would share - If you are in the market for an epird Ray Anne Marine have Pains Wessex RB6 406 EPIRBs at $299. Awesome price

Like most safety equipment epirbs expire after a few years. About the only detail not listed on their site is this expiry date. A fair chance they will expire within 12-18months.

You get a free battery replacement with the Pains and Wessex brand at the 5 year mark which give you another 5 years. So if you get the one for $299, replace battery in 12-18 months you are getting 5-7 years at least. Better than paying $400+ for a 6 year one.
